Ink, pencil, and watercolor on paper. Painted by the Grand Duchess for her granddaughter Princess Xenia Andreevna Romanoff (known as Mysh to her family).
Grand Duchess Alexandrovna was the daughter of Czar Alexander III and Dagmar of Denmark.
Inscribed in ink and pencil to verso (in Cyrillic): Mysh / from Amana / 24 Jan 1925. (Amana being the Danish word for Grandmother).
