Folio (approx. 15 x 10 inches). 722pp + Alphabetical Table. Contemporary full leather, gilt-stamped title to spine, spine and board edges tooled in gilt, lettered paper thumb tabs, large contemporary armorial engraving tipped-in. Housed in modern cloth-covered clamshell case by Ruth L. Heginbottom.
Binding split in half along center spine, with boards still attached by cords; title strip peeling; boards heavily rubbed and worn, with loss to corners and board edges; slight toning, scattered foxing throughout; manuscript pages are remarkably bright and clean.
