Quarto. Mixed pagination. Illustrated with color engravings after designs by Walter Crane and printed by Edmund Evans. Publisher’s orange pictorial cloth, spine and front cover lettered and decorated in gilt, illustrated endleaves. In custom leather and cloth titled chemise-style slipcase. 

Spine slightly rubbed and darkened; boards rubbed and soiled, with minor surface loss at spine ends and corners; front hinge cracked; endleaves stained; occasional thumbsoiling and small edge tears throughout; bookplate to front pastedown; slipcase sunned and rubbed. Good or better. Item #3058
