Washington, June 3rd, 1851. Dorsey Ramsden, a private in Captain Hall’s Company Second Regiment - Texas Mounted Volunteers. A Warrant in his favor, numbered 4551.
Document reads in part: "There is therefore granted by the United States unto David C. Skinner and George M. Woodbridge assignees of said Dorsey Ramsden and to their heirs the North East corner of the South East quarter of section twenty two in township two of range seven in the district of Sands subject to the sale of Chillicothe, formerly Marietta, Ohio, containing forty acres and nine hundredths of an acre.” Co-signed by Assistant Secretary Alex McCormick. Wafer seal intact. Blank to verso.
