Large octavo. 418 pages. Illustrated with lovely inserted color plates, plus with line drawings in the text. Publisher's original blue cloth, stamped in gilt with lettering and decoration on the front cover and backstrip. Top edge stained. Illustrated endpapers.

Book itself is in about fine condition with only very minor toning to the sheets. Jacket is a bit chipped around the edges, with minor creasing and a few short closed tears. Light soiling and previous tape repairs to the back of the dj along the top and bottom edge, and on one of the flap folds. A couple longer repaired tears. Spine of jacket is a bit darkened, and looks like someone wiped the jacket to clean it. Altogether, a great near fine book in a better than good jacket that shows very well. HFP-501. Item #501
