A facsimile of Lane’s hitherto unknown 1843 diary bound in black leather with blind stamped rules on covers and gilt lettering on spine, upper edges red, includes color illustrations of various fish and flies. Transcript volume with commentary by Len Cacutt, bound in maroon paper covers with gilt letrering to front and spine. Both volumes housed together in black cloth and paper covered slip case.
