Decorative initials by Louis Rhead.  Bound in publisher’s green cloth with gilt lettering on front board and spine, gilt fishing basket design stamped on front board, top edge gilt. In unclipped illustrated dust jacket.

Binding lightly rubbed at extremities, some insect surface cloth loss, most prominent at the head of the spine and lighter on the front board; minor foxing to endpapers. Dust jacket with edge wear and fold separations, paper loss at head of spine panel, penned number “799” on spine, closed edge tears (one into title on the front panel), some soiling and foxing.
