Bound in publisher’s cloth with blind stamped rules and publisher’s device on both boards, gilt lettering to spine; coated endpapers. Illustrated bookplate of Ernest Powell King of Wainford Hants, designed by E[dward] R[obert] Hughes on front pastedown.

Binding lightly rubbed, corners and spine ends bumped, spine and front board faded in a pattern that suggests the book was the last volume between book ends; occasional spots of minor browning, tissue guards with foxing, textblock slightly over opened at signature Q.
